About
Report
As a caring and compassionate motorist, I decided to become a driving instructor and use my skills to help people to learn to drive.
I'm fully focused on ensuring learner drivers fully anticipate the potential actions of other drivers, increasing their confidence and overall road awareness, always with safety in mind.
My thoughtful and patient approach has seen myself excel in helping learners pass their test and take to the road as fully-fledged independent drivers.
Before Becoming a driving instructor, I was a garden designer and in my earlier years, I worked as a mechanic and he also has a Class 1HGV licence.

You don't have to be a recently qualified driver to do motorway training with Tony's Driving School.

Winter Driving
Report
Winter Driving: Winter driving brings its own challenges.
Winter is a great season for holidays, offering wonderful opportunities for weekend getaways, and visiting friends and relatives during the holidays.
But winter travel can quickly become winter trauma if you aren't prepared for the extra challenges of winter driving.
Winter weather can make road conditions unpredictable, and sometimes treacherous.
Reduced visibility and slippery road surfaces make winter driving particularly hazardous.
Good observation is essential so that you can interpret conditions accurately and adjust your speed accordingly.

There is no minimum or maximum amount of training that should be given.
Every learner is an individual.
The DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standards Agency) recommend around 40 - 60 hours of tuition for a 17-year-old.
However, the amount of time it will take to get you to test standard is dependent on your own aptitude and personal rate of learning.
Some students need less amount of training than this and some need more.
Pretty soon into your driving lessons I will be able to advise when I think approximately you will be test ready.
