I cant recommend Laura from Harwood Driving School enough. Laura was so calm and friendly throughout the process, and a really great instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with her and appreciated her patience and guidance, particularly over the first few lessons. I passed first time in Bury, which definitely wouldnt have been possible without her! Thanks again.

Passed first time with 3 minors, I was so nervous and my confidence was awful, but Laura was so patient with me (especially my parking issues haha), she took the time to go over and over things until I was ready, she helped me with my confidence, she was very friendly and made me feel at ease, I had 3 previous instructors before Harwood and I left them as I didn't gel with them, then found Harwood and so glad I did, would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Harwood and especially Laura.

I passed my driving test yesterday with Laura and Im absolutely grateful for all of her help. She explains things in a simple way and takes time to make sure youre confident in what to do before moving on. More than anything, she helped me build lots of confidence when driving on the road. I feel ready to drive on my own now thanks to Lauras support. I genuinely couldnt have done it without her and would 100% recommend her to anyone learning to drive!!!

Passed first time with just 1 minor thanks to Matt, who was such a great instructor. Matt's equipped me with the skills to be a safe driver for life not just to pass the test, but thanks to his dedication and patience I was able to pass with confidence.
His communication and reliability was brilliant throughout so I never had to worry about that, which allowed me to focus on learning.

Laura has to be the most wonderful driving instructor in the world. Shes such a kind teacher and I couldnt have passed first time without her!

I passed my driving test with John Stainton from Harwood Driving School and couldnt have asked for a better instructor.
John was always friendly and easy to chat with, which made every lesson really enjoyable while still learning a lot. He was great at breaking things down and giving helpful feedback, which made learning new skills much easier.

I've always struggled with my confidence in driving and having Lindsay as an instructor really helped me come out of my shell. She was understanding, patient, kind and always tailored her lessons to how I was feeling at the time. She went above and beyond and always went the extra mile by sending me videos and mindfulness techniques to help with my anxiety. I couldn't have wished for a better instructor!

I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Matt. He was always patient, calm, and clear in their explanations, which made every lesson feel comfortable. Ive always struggled to find a good instructor until I was recommended Tasha at harwood driving school based in Nelson. She really is the most patient instructor, not only have I learnt so much from her but shes kept me calm and settled the nerves I have had for years.

Ive tried learning to drive many times over the years with different instructors, but never found the right one until I met Tasha at Hardwood Driving School. She has been absolutely amazing. Thanks to her patience, knowledge, and encouragement, I finally passed my driving test first time!

I started my lessons with Asma In july (not done my theory yet), I passed my theory in September and within a month my test was booked and i was prepared for my test and passed first time, she is very patient and understanding and helped me become comfortable and confident on the roads. Also had a few fun trips with her! Thanks Asma

We cant thank Duncan enough! Ciara started her lessons with him in late December and has just passed her test first time today. From the very beginning, Duncan has been brilliant patient, encouraging, and always going the extra mile. He really takes the time to get to know his students and understands how to bring out the best in them. His support and guidance have given Ciara so much confidence, and were forever grateful for all his hard work. Couldnt recommend him highly enough!

Cant thank and recommend Duncan from Harwood Driving School enough! His knowledge and teaching is second to none, he provides great insight and he puts maximum effort into making sure his students learn to drive to the best standard possible. He is incredibly likeable, and hes gone above and beyond to prepare me for a first time pass, dedicating me extra driving time as well as preparing useful handouts for manoeuvres and show me tell me questions. I started my first lesson with Asma on the 6th of September, and today, 30th of September, I passed my driving test after two previous failed attempts. Asma is truly the best instructor! She is very patient, supportive, and helped me build my confidence behind the wheel. Lessons with her never felt stressful, they were fun, engaging, and always professional. Duncan is an amazing instructor he managed to fit me in last minute after having problems with a previous instructor and hes been so lovely to have ever since. He helped me gain my confidence on the road and always walked me through anything and everything for me to feel comfortable behind the wheel. I even had a lesson on my birthday and he picked me up blasting happy birthday through the car with some little cupcakes - and he hell always have some tictacs if you ever want some. I cant thank him enough for helping me learn to drive and pass my test with zero faults!! He is the best instructor and an amazing person thank you so much Duncan.

Matthew was a really great instructor who helped me pass first time. Taught me a range of necessary skills in detail and in a friendly way that was focused on my needs. We looked in depth at all my weaknesses and I got the best help i possibly could to help me be safe on the road. He was a great help and gave me so much confidence by being so friendly and attentive with his teaching.

Duncan is an excellent driving instructor. He always gave me a really good understanding of instructions to make sure my driving was as good as it can be. We had a great journey together which ended up in a first time pass. It was a pleasure to be taught by him and id highly recommend for people who wants to start learning. If we had any issues he would always give me another chance and he never gives up on his learners.

I just want to say I couldn't recommend Tony from Harwood driving school enough, he fitted me in last minute as I had booked my extended driving test without an instructor, I had 6 2hour lessons with him and passed first time. Tony was very friendly and put me at ease, he would message relevant link that would help me to pass, just before my test he messaged me to tell me what to remember was always very positive.
I just want to say a massive thank you for all your help and support in getting me to pass my extended test.

Duncan is the best driving instructor ever, he made me feel at ease straight away, I have anxiety and the thought of driving at first made me super anxious, but Duncan helped me become very confident behind the wheel. If youre looking for a driving school definitely pick Harwood driving school. Duncan is amazing. I couldnt thank him enough if I tried.
