Learning to drive is a serious business, and as you would expect from a professional driving school all your lessons will be structured to cover the full syllabus as specified by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). With Lightning Learners your tuition will be delivered in an informative, but relaxed way. You will only learn to drive once, so we ensure that you receive the best tuition available.At the end of each lesson we will review the topics that you have covered, agree the areas that need improvement and agree a lesson plan for your next training session.
A single lesson is of 50 minutes duration (a double lesson 1 hour 40 minutes) and can be conducted from your home, school, college or workplace (within the local area). As a special introductory offer when you book and pay for your first 10 lessons we will give you an extra lesson free of charge. That's a saving of nearly 50.
When the course is completed after about six hours (normally 3x2 hour or 2x3 hour sessions) you will receive a certificate from the DSA that may well entitle you to an insurance discount from one of the companies taking part in the scheme. TfL (Transport for London) will give you a 70 refund once you have successfully completed the course.
