Fast Forward School Of Motoring
Looking for driving lessons in the GRIMSBY area? Looking for an INSTRUCTOR who will give you a great chance of passing your test 1st time? Fast Forward can give you that chance and is your local, independent driving school, established since 2005 and run by myself Bill Dalby. Driving lessons with Fast Forward are of a very high standard but conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner to ensure your lessons are enjoyable as well as productive.

Your driving course will be tailored to suit you so you will be taught at the best pace to suit. All driving lessons are conducted on a one to one basis at a time that suits you and can last 1, 1.5 or 2 hours depending on your preference. Semi-intensive courses are also available so please ask for details on this. In addition to the standard driving lessons, I also offer hazard perception & theory test help and advice, and for the more experienced driver, Pass Plus, Refresher and Motorway lessons.

I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Services
As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one.
If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately.
You can find costs for all licence types here.
Before you start the hazard perception part of the test, you'll be shown a short video clip about how it works before being shown a series of video clips on a computer screen.
The clips feature everyday road scenes and contain at least one developing hazard - but one of the clips will feature two developing hazards.
Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable.
Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career.
While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk.
Your initial driver training should provide you with a varied range of road and traffic conditions, however, this training often takes place on familiar roads around Grimsby or other areas we cover, as there are time constraints and lesson objectives to consider.
Thank you for teaching me to drive and helping me to pass first time.
I would recommend Bill, as a driving instructor to anyone who's learning to drive due to his patience, personality and teaching skills.
Absolutely brilliant instructor!
I would like to say thank you for everything you have done for me.
I had a rocky start to driving before i moved to you and you made me believe in myself when I did not.
Thank you for getting me through this I couldn't have done it without you!
Thank you so much for all the help and support you having given Kyle and for getting him through his text, I will highly recommend you and maybe when my daughter builds her confidence up to drive we will be in touch.
On your first lesson, you will need to print and produce your licence information.
