Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher call/text now to take a step towards driving confidence in Newcastle upon Tyne. I had driven for some 80 hours but was becoming desperate having failed my test 7 times. Within only 4 months, after starting with Michael, my driving was dramatically improved and I passed first time in Newcastle. I am entirely grateful and it was money certainly well spent.

Michael is an excellent instructor with plenty of technical knowledge, patience and pride in his work.
Services
UK provisional driving licence holders (First timer new to driving, part trained and converting from manual to automatic).
The more time you can commit to automatic driving lessons the quicker you'll progress, building on your skills and confidence level.
If possible you should try to commit to two hours or more per week, this can be either one or two lessons.
As recommended by the DSVA record sheets are filled in at the end of each lesson so that your progress can be seen at a glance.
Strengths and more importantly any areas requiring work are highlighted.
The automatic tuition vehicle you will learn to drive and also take your test in is a Toyota Yaris hybrid.
It is a 5 door 1.5 litre petrol/electric model with a CVT automatic gearbox & electric motor allowing the car to 'creep' using just the brake making manoeuvring easier to control.
It has a large glass area for good vision and easy observations this also helps make manoeuvres easier.
It has electrically operated front windows and electrically adjustable mirrors.
Variable electric power steering, digital climate control air conditioning, height adjustable driver's seat and reach/rake adjustable steering wheel allowing all pupils to find a comfortable seating position.
2. Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
In the manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust all 5 tyres when they are cold & remember to refit valve caps.
3. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the centre part of the head restraint is at least level with the eyes or top of the ears.
Make sure you that, if you book your theory test online, you use the official DVSA site as there are other sites that charge a premium of up to 28 + the DVSA test fee of 23 to book!
You do not have to pass the theory test before you start to drive but studying for the theory test as soon as lessons are booked means that you will understand more and build your confidence quicker when you do start to drive.
The theory test should be looked at as a good foundation for good driving and a lifetime of safe driving.
The standard practical driving test costs a DVSA test fee of 62 weekdays, 75 Weekends and bank Holidays, 124 for an extended test if ordered by a court plus the cost of the instructors time and is designed to see if you can drive safely on varying roads and in various traffic conditions whilst showing, through your driving, that you have a sound knowledge of the Highway Code (this is why it's important to study the Highway Code for your theory test).
To pass the practical driving test you must commit no more than 15 driver faults and NO serious or dangerous faults.
