Extended Driving Tests

I provide Extended Driving Tests for those required to regain their licence following revocation where an extended assessment is needed. My test preparation is similar to a standard L test but takes longer. I understand concerns about using a learner car and keep my vehicle discreet with minimal L plate visibility. I can also arrange suitable pick-up options without L plates.

With our Learner Driving Lessons, I support complete beginners and those with prior driving experience in progressing towards their driving test. I provide guidance tailored to each learners current ability and aim to help them achieve their final goal. Having observed many driving tests, I understand the standards examiners expect and require during each assessment.

Des is an amazing instructor! I started as a complete beginner and passed my test first time thanks to his patient and diligent teaching. Very supportive and explained all driving concepts very clearly so that I can learn to drive safely (not just pass the test). Always on time for our lessons and flexible for my changeable schedule. I would highly recommend Des for anyone!

I passed my driving test first time round thanks to Des! From the very beginning, he was incredibly patient and made everything from manoeuvres to helpful tips and tricks easy to understand. He also explained lots of questions I had not just told me what to do but why. After my first lesson, I honestly didnt think Id be ready to pass my test so quickly, but Des gave me the confidence and skills I needed. I highly recommend booking the 1.5-hour lessons if you can, they really helped solidify everything and we were able to cover much more in each lesson. He was very reasonably priced and flexible with scheduling, which was a huge help around my work hours. Couldnt recommend him enough!

I just passed my test with Des for the first time!! As difficult as it was finding an instructor for Automatic, it was relieving to find one that just didn't want to prepare you for the test but was more focused on making you a good and safe driver! I would recommend Des over and over again. Even if you have never driven before(like me), youll be a pro in no time! Thanks, Des, you are amazing!

Recently just passed my test with Des first time :) Des is such an amazing instructor, he has the patience of a saint and explains things so well when you dont understand them . Was recommended Des by a few people who have passed first time with him and I passed my test first time too. I 100% give Des all the credit as I couldnt have done it without him - he exceeded my expectations for a driving instructor. He honestly has the patience of a saint, is so understanding and knows how to reassure learner drivers to give them a confidence boost (also lovely to chat to during lessons). Couldnt recommend him enough!
