Hi I am Mike Abraham, A Fully Qualified Grade 5 driving instructor, who for more than 14 years has been teaching pupils to drive to a very high standard.
MRA SOM was formed in 2002 & soon became one of the top driving schools in the High Wycombe area with an average 1st time pass rate of over 80%.
In the 1st year alone 119 driving tests were taken 95 passed 1st time.
Driving is a passion for me, it still gives me a buzz when the new pupil I met only a few weeks ago passes their test.
I am committed to giving Quality Tuition in a Friendly, Fun & NON ABUSIVE environment.
We give you theory test sheets on each lesson to build up your knowledge base of the highway code.
We can also supply all books, hazard Perception DVD and Practice Partner DVD.
QUESTIONS - The first part of the theory involves 50 multiple choice questions on a touch screen computer - the pass mark is 43 out of 50.
HAZARD PERCEPTION - The Hazard Perception test involves 14 film clips each lasting 30 - 40 seconds in total and there are 15 developing hazards that you will need to identify.
5 points is the max score for each hazard - that's a potential 75 points if you get them all correct.
2. Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
3. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable.
