Strive 2 Drive
Welcome to strive2drive, a driving school based in Broxbourne, giving driving lessons in Hertfordshire towns such as Broxbourne, Hoddesdon, Ware, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertford and neighbouring towns. We are also a driving school in Enfield and surrounding areas and also parts of Essex such as Waltham Abbey, Nazeing, Roydon and Harlow. To Strive [verb] to try very hard to do something or to make something happen, to want, to achieve something, accomplish, attempt, fulfil, endeavour, determined to succeed.

We will deliver the highest standard of teaching to give you the most experience possible. This will help you get on the road quickly and safely. All our driving lessons are conducted on a one 2 one basis and are for an hour, hour and a half or two hours depending on the pupils preference and availability. We are also able to help you with your theory and hazard perception tests if you have not yet passed them.

We have male and female instructors who offer manual and automatic lessons.
Services
Before you book your first practical lesson or take your Theory test, you are required to apply for a provisional licence.
You can either apply online which costs 34 or pick up a D1 Form from your local post office and apply by post which costs 43.
You can apply for your provisional licence before your 17th birthday.
You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old and be able to read a number plate from 20 metres away.
However your provisional licence would not become valid until you are seventeen to drive a car.
The core curriculum is based on the guidelines from the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency; it covers all you need to learn to drive safely and to pass you driving test.
Your personal curriculum is set according to your specific needs.
At the moment we use Ford Fiesta's and we also have a new Hybrid Toyota Yaris which is automatic.
All have air-conditioning, power-steering and dual controls.
If you have pre-paid for a block of lessons and you cancel, you will be refunded the outstanding amount, but lessons used will be calculated on the standard lesson fee plus a 10 admin fee is charged.
Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable.
Note: Some restraints might not be adjustable.
Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
An effective 3 day course designed for those who have failed a test recently or have substantial driving experience and need to polish up just a few aspects of your driving.
This course may also be suitable for an international licence holder wishing to gain a full UK licence.
This is our most popular course with an excellent 1st-time pass rate.
This course is suitable for someone who has covered the vast majority of the syllabus via traditional hourly driving lessons over a period of time.
A very popular and successful choice for the right candidate.
