W B Driving School
Prior to running my own driving school I have worked as a successful driving instructor for BSM driving school and the AA driving school. I am very proud to say that I have been classified as a Grade A Driving Instructor in my last Driving Instructor Check Test carried out by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

I enjoy teaching to drive, and it gives me a great job satisfaction to know that I am making a positive difference to the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) plan of having qualified drivers that can "drive safely for life".I firmly believe that I am in an equal working partnership with all my pupils, and I will always endeavour to give 100% of my teaching knowledge to all my pupils in each and every lesson.

I promise I will conduct my lessons in a professional, relaxed and friendly manner where you, my pupil(s), will be able to learn in an understanding and stress free environment. We are so confident about our teaching that if on your first lesson you are not completely satisfied with the way you are taught to drive, or about our teaching methods your money will be refunded, no questions asked!

We pride ourselves of knowing the area of Ashford Kent very well, and are also familiar with all the surrounding areas.
This first hand knowledge has proven valuable to all our Learner Drivers over the years.
There are no secrets to becoming a "safe driver" - it requires an understanding of your own emotions and beliefs, your personal attitude(s) towards current rules and regulations, a clear understanding of the Highway Code and your acceptance of other road users.
You need to be 17 to start learning to drive and have a valid provisional licence before you take your first driving lessons.
Complete a D1 form from the post office and send it to theDVLA with your passport or birth certificate, and a passport-sized photo.
You can also apply online.
Apply for a provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday, and you could book your first driving lesson for the big day!
Your instructor will estimate how long you are likely to need after your first lesson.
1. Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine oil level and tell me how you would check that the engine has sufficient oil.
Identify the dipstick/oil level indicator, describe check of oil level against the minimum/maximum markers.
Identify the high/low level markings on the header tank (where fitted) or radiator cap, and describe how to top up to the correct level.
3. Identify where the windscreen washer reservoir is and tell me how you would check the windscreen washer level.
4. Open the bonnet, identify where the brake fluid reservoir is and tell me how you would check you have a safe level of hydraulic fluid.
Walter, what you achieved with me was amazing!
I was super nervous and kept creating problems for myself when driving so this kept stopping me from moving forward.
Walter was very good at being able to understand my fears and help me to turn those thoughts around into positivity and confidence.
Walter is very patient and good at taking the time to understand his pupils and work with pupils to get the best outcome.
When I passed my test, I was overwhelmed with happiness at what I had achieved I could not have done this without Walter's guidance!
