Formula Jon Driving school was formed in 2019 by an ex Police Officer with a love of Teaching and Driving.
Jon Kenny was a Police Response driver and still is a proud member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).
The school was formed with one main vision, to provide top quality driver training at an affordable price to the people of Sutton, Surrey and surrounding areas of Greater London.
After leaving the Police in 2017, Jon began the long road to becoming an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor).
Formula Jon Driving School are pleased to announce its subscription to My Drive Time and offer this FREE of charge to all our students.
My Drive time is a Student, Instructor digital platform where instructors can manage pupils learning and pupils can track their progress along the journey to obtaining a full driving licence.

This is all dependant on the students driving ability, a guide from the DVLA states that on average a student will require an average 47 hours of paid tuition from an approved driving instructor (ADI).
Yes, you will be required to input the theory test certificate number at the time of booking your practical test.
There are good number of books to assist you, along with the Highway Code.
Also, there are a good number of revision applications on both Google Play and the Apple iStore.

As part of the process of obtaining a full driving licence.
The Driver Vehicle and Standards Agency require you to sit and pass a Category B (car) Theory test.
The Test consists of 50 Multiple Choice Questions, each correct answer scoring you One Mark.
This is then followed by 14 Hazard Perception Videos.
One video contains two hazards carrying a maximum of 10 marks (five marks per hazard).
The others carry a maximum of 5 marks, with only one hazard per video.
The pass mark for the Multiple-Choice Questions is 43 out of 50 and the pass mark for the Hazard perception videos is 47 out of 75.
After you have successfully learnt how to drive to the required test standard, between yourself and your Approved Driving Instructor you will then discuss booking your Practical Driving Test.
On the day of your test your Formula Jon Driving School Instructor, will pick you up around 60 minutes before your test start time.
The first hour will consist of a 30-minute warm up a drive to your chosen Driving Test Centre.
Once there you will be reminded of the key test day do's and don'ts by your Instructor, before heading into the test centre to meet your examiner.
