David Walsh Driving School
David Walsh Driver Training is looking to expand the family business with two Approved Driving Instructors for immediate start under franchise. Male and female applicants are sought for two full-time positions, although part-time may also be considered on a case-by-case basis. To drive safely on today's roads demands a level of skill that's higher than ever, and the standard required to pass the driving test has increased to reflect this.

You'll want to make sure that you're thoroughly prepared for every aspect of your driving test, and for your driving life after you've passed. The best and safest way to learn is to find a skilled, professionally trained instructor, who is licensed by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). If you feel nervous about driving, for whatever reason, it's particularly important to choose a driving school that offers expert tuition from a trained instructor.

Whether it's your first time behind the wheel or you want to build on previous training, you can put together a course of lessons that suits you and your pocket.
Services
We are a family run business, we're not a franchise, therefore we work hard to maintain the excellent reputation that we have today.
Established since 1987, we've helped thousands of people learn to drive and pass their test through our family run business which includes David (Father) & Sons, Jason & Craig Walsh.
We also appreciate that, though learning to drive is really important, it should still be fun.
You learn quicker when you're enjoying yourself and we go out of our way to ensure learning to drive, which some can find a scary prospect, is much easier than you think.
You need to be 17 to start learning to drive and have a valid provisional licence before you take your first driving lessons.
Complete a D1 form from the post office and send it to the DVLA with your passport or birth certificate, and a passport-sized photo.
You can also apply online.
Apply for a provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday, and you could book your first driving lesson for the big day!
All David Walsh Driving School instructors display a green DSA (Driving Standards Agency) badge in their windscreen to prove they've completed 12 to 18 months of training, and passed an exam testing their ability to teach you.
A lesson lasts for an hour, although we usually recommend taking two lessons together - that way you can warm up, and then have some good quality driving time.
If two hours sounds a bit daunting, you can book an hour and a half if you prefer - we're completely flexible and happy to do whatever suits you.
We want to give you the highest standard of training possible so that you start your motoring life as a confident, safe and well-equipped driver.
We also set high standards of professionalism.
For instance, you'll never be expected to 'share' a lesson, or stop for fuel unless it's something you need to learn about.
