4 Wheelz Driving School
4 Wheelz Driving School are a different breed of driving school. We offer driving lessons in Birmingham and across the West Midlands, and have done since 1994 when our founder joined forces with his daughter and launched 4 Wheelz. When you join 4 Wheelz Driving School for your driving lessons you are welcomed as part of the family.

We offer a full range of driving lessons and courses, so we are confident that you'll find a lesson or course to suit your needs, whether that may be manual or automatic driving lessons, an intensive driving course where you can learn to drive in as little as 4 weeks, or a pass plus course to help you to be a better driver once you've passed your test.

All of our driving instructors are DVSA (Driving and Vehicles Standards Agency) registered and DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked - we even offer driving instructor training to ensure that you are receiving the best training possible. We don't just want you to pass your driving test, we want you to be a better, safer driver on the roads.
Services
At 4 Wheelz Driving School we've trained hundreds of new instructors and learner drivers in Birmingham and across the West Midlands during our 23 years.
We're proud of the learning environment we provide and think that, as a driving school that trains both learner drivers and instructors, we are able to provide our pupils with a different, wide-ranging and hands-on experience that few driving schools in the surrounding areas can match.
Our Founder, Steven Higgs, first began his career as a driving instructor in 1985.

Intensive driving courses are designed for learner drivers who want to pass their driving test in a short space of time.
Those who have never driven before can be up to test level within a matter of four weeks.
Those who have driven before, or need to retake their driving test, can be test ready in as little as one week.
During an intensive driving course you could be driving for several hours a day.
The content on an intensive driving course is the same as a regular driving lessons, except that it is structured in a way that allows pupils to learn much faster.
When it comes to your driving lessons there are two options open to you: manual driving lessons or automatic driving lessons.
Opting to learn to drive in an automatic vehicle means you will need to do an automatic driving test rather than a manual test.
Here at 4 Wheelz we can offer you lessons specially designed to help you learn to drive in an automatic car in preparation for your test.
Manual cars have a clutch, brake and accelerator.
You change gears yourself using the clutch pedal and gear lever.
A provisional licence is crucial if you want to learn how to drive, without one you are unable to begin learning to drive.
So to start your process to getting a full UK driving licence you need to apply for a provisional driving licence.
You can apply for your provisional driving licence when you're 15 years nine months old.
However that doesn't mean you can drive a car from then, by law you must be 17 years old before you can drive a car with a provisional licence.
Even then you must be under supervision.
