Services
Insight driving school was founded by Mark Jarrett who started his career as B.S.M instructor in 1993 and then went on to work as an AA instructor for many years.
Mark is a fully qualified DVSA Grade A approved driving instructor and is also a registered Pass Plus instructor.
He has a very extensive knowledge of the driving instruction industry and prides himself on providing a first class service.
Insight is a family run business and our instructors are fully qualified and DVSA approved.
Our objective is to help you to become a safe and competent driver as quickly and as easily as possible.
All single lessons are for a full one hour duration and are on a one to one basis so there is no car sharing.
You can be picked up from home or work as long as the pick up address is within a post code area shown on the home page.
DVSA research shows that up to 45 hours practice with at least 20 hours of private practice provides learner drivers with the best chance of passing a driving test.
Intensive courses are for those people who may need to obtain a driving licence very quickly.
These courses are not suitable for everyone so we recommend a 1 hour assessment lesson with an instructor who will advise you on what course may be suitable for you, depending on your ability.
Those who pass their driving test have had, on average, about 45 hours of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice.
Learners who prepare this way, with a combination of plenty of professional training and plenty of practice, do better in the test.
To help you learn in a structured way, the Driving Standards Agency has produced a Driver's Record.
You may have received a Driver's Record with your provisional driving licence.
This will help you monitor your progress and provide you with a lasting record of your achievement.
