Licence2Drive has been providing driving lessons in Norwich for over 15 years. Our aim is to offer the very best support, advice and practical instruction for learners of all levels so you can enjoy your learning to drive experience and concentrate on progressing and passing your test. We offer both manual and automatic driving lessons as well as male and female driving instructors.

All lessons are carried out in a modern dual controlled car and are tailored to the individual. We'll help you get ready for your theory and your practical tests but our teaching doesn't stop there. We believe in teaching you to be a safe, confident and skilful driver, not just to pass your test. Our learners enjoy an excellent, above average pass rate - we'd love to help you succeed too!

Please feel free to call, text or email us. Alternatively please complete the contact form. We're likely to be in lessons so please leave a message if calling and we'll respond as soon as we have a minute.
Services
We're not the cheapest, but we're not the most expensive either!
We don't claim to be able to get you passed more quickly than your friends (how can we know until we see how quickly you pick things up?).
What we do promise is that every lesson you have will be tailored to you.
You will be taught by relaxed, friendly instructors in a modern (less than 3 years old) tuition car.
You will learn how to drive, not just how to pass a test, this ensures that you'll learn safe driving for life.
Payment for the whole 10 hours is required either at the time of booking or at the start of your first lesson.
Are you unhappy with your current franchise or are you struggling for work as an independent ADI?.
Our aim is to keep your diary full without you feeling that too much of your hard earned money is paid in franchise fees.
Our full time franchise deal equates to less than 1.5 hours of pupil fees per week.
You will be able to focus on your pupils without worrying where the next one is coming from.
All this while still remaining in complete control of your diary and working hours.
Further deatils of the benefits and costs are detailed below.
At Licence2Drive we are aware that for whatever reason learning to drive in a manual car is not for everybody.
It might be that you have tried learning in a manual and didn't get on with it.
Maybe you're nervous or have a disability which makes controlling the car more difficult.
Learning in an automatic means that you don't have to worry about the gears or the clutch.
This means no biting point, no biting point means no rolling back and no stalling!
Automatic driving lessons are certainly easier, no changing up and down.
I passed first time with Licence2Drive! Gareth was an amazing teacher and tailored my lessons to exactly what i needed to focus on.
I couldn't recommend more highly!
I recently passed my test first time after learning with Gareth from Licence2Drive.
Gareth is a great instructor who tailors each lesson to you personal needs and therefore makes sure you are in the best position possible to pass both your theory and practical driving tests.
Gareth is always professional and ensures you are confident by explaining things in a way that makes sense (he compared some situations to football for me so that I fully understand what I needed to do).
Most people should be able to apply online, otherwise you can get an application form (D1) from the post office.
If you're eager to get started you can apply for your provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday!
In addition to your provisional licence you'll need to make sure that your eyesight is up to scratch.
In order to drive you'll need to be able to read a number plate in good light from 20 metres.
We want to hear from you! whether you have a quick question, a complex one, or if you just want to say hello!
